1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Diablesse (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use the app.
2. Description of the app
Diablesse is an iOS app that helps with diabetes management, letting you log blood glucose, count carbohydrates, calculate bolus suggestions, and view trends over time. All information is stored locally on your device.
3. Important medical notice
Diablesse is a support tool and does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Insulin dose (bolus) suggestions are only estimates calculated from the parameters you provide and do not constitute a medical prescription. Always confirm any treatment decision with your doctor or healthcare professional. In an emergency, seek medical care immediately.
4. License to use
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use Diablesse on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store rules.
5. Proper use and responsibilities
You agree to use the app only for lawful and personal purposes. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping backups of your information, since it is stored only on your device.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its name, design, logo, and code are protected by intellectual property rights. These Terms do not grant you any rights to those marks or content beyond the license to use described above.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
Diablesse is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or that the calculations will meet all of your specific health needs.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the app, including treatment decisions made based on the information it displays.
9. Privacy
Diablesse does not collect or transmit your data — everything stays on your device. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect improvements to the app or legal changes. When that happens, the "last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any disputes will be submitted to the courts of the user's place of residence, unless otherwise required by law.
